What's being updated and when
- 28 June: Culled the Links page, paring it down to merely the best the internet has to offer. There's not much.
- 1 February: Several quotations added to the Quote File. Man, the layout of that page irks me more and more. I really must get around to changing it.
- 25 October: Two anonymous unfortunate limericks added, about a peach-loving child and a monk with no particular opinion of peaches.
- 9 August: Added a few links to the links page. I find it's much easier to find interesting pages elsewhere than to actually create something interesting myself.
- 20 June: I'm not sure what to think of W.B. Yeats, but again and again I find myself liking his poems. That must be the mark of a good poet; the man doesn't get in the way of his art. In any case, a Yeats poem is added to the (increasingly lengthy) reading list.
- 22 May: Put back up 'blog, for now. Don't you have better things to do?
- 15 April: Added a new pome, by Kenneth Koch. It's not bad.
- 17 March: Redesigned index a bit, added new essay (yes, about Hopkins).
- 2 January: Took down 'blog, for now. Don't you have better things to do?
- 6 December: New poem, by a fellow named Gerard Manley Hopkins (who, perhaps ironically, was not particularly manly): "Pied Beauty".
- 30 August: Removed links to Conworld stuff; it's not really ready to be seen, anyway. Minor changes to quotes page.
- 10 June: Added another Yeats poem.
- 21 April: To write a verse or two is all the praise / That I can raise.
Easter, by George Herbert; it's two weeks late, perhaps, but a nice poem nonetheless.
- 23 February: A new review on something relatively old: the game Pharaoh
- 30 January: Added two poems, one rather optimistic and the other not so much. "Warning" and "The God Who Loves You"
- 14 January: First notable update in a while. An essay I wrote: Flatland, Spaceland, and the Quest for Higher Dimensions.
- 1 January: Ahem. Er, I put the city lists into a text file for easy downloading. (To download it, simply go to File "save as".) It might save you some time, perhaps.
