Many people don't realize that there are a number of sights to see and things to do in Kansas. The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson is well worth the time to visit. Fort Larned is a National Historic Site that played an important part in the westward expansion of this country. Bill Koch's America3 won the America's Cup in 1992. Pizza Hut was founded in Wichita and many airplane manufacturers such as Boeing and Cessna have their headquarters there. In other words, Kansas is one of the Country's best kept secrets.
