This cache is located on the site of Key Largo's former Bridge to Nowhere.

In the 1960's a bridge connected Key Largo to a small island slated for development. No development occurred and the Florida Park Service eventually acquired the island. Since they wished to maintain the land in a pristine state, they requested that the bridge be removed. The citizens of Monroe County were ever so happy to pick up the tab for the bridge's demolition in 2005. Several agencies are now restoring the sea grass beds where the bridge stood.
We have moved this cache so that it may be accessed without trespassing on the adjacent private property. The cache is a small camo plastic container. There is a poisonwood tree nearby, exercise caution.

Found after driving around for about half an hour looking for a way to get to the cache site. Cache was stuffed full of all sorts of things.

Biggest problem with this one was finding a non-dead end road that would get us to the cache vicinity. Once we finally accomplished that, locating the cache was easy.
