This is the beginning of a series of micros celebrating the small parks of South East Florida.
The area is a special little park. Be sure to read the plaque near the road. It commemorates an influential but little known individual who was a casualty of war.
Like any true cacher, we love the thrill of a full ammo box just off a wooded trail. But we live in the urban reality of Miami and must therefore adapt.

Thanks for the introduction to this little park. We stopped and watched some coots, grebes, and turtles in the pond, and said hello to some nearby muggles. Found with nana5mhk. TFTC!
