Our Inn is located just off US-1 - in Homestead. It shouldn't be too difficult to find if you follow the trail.The cache is a medium sized ammo box. Please do not keep the disposable camera, but feel free to take a picture or two to document your stay at the inn. (or your pet! or a T.B.!)Try to save as many exposures as possible for future visitors/guests of the the inn. Please come back and visit us again soon!

General Rules about room and board at The Wayside Inn:
1. It really isn't very fun if there are too many vacancies, so the more TBs you leave the better!
2. Please only leave TBs (or geocoins) in the cache. However, this does not mean that you must leave/swap a TB. It is okay to simply log your visit as a find, then as a "note" on this page if you come back to swap TBs in the future. (& we hope you do!) If you would rather not trade a TB, there's a ziplock bag inside the cache for 1 or 2 small items.
3. Try to leave with either the same number of TBs you came with or LESS. Dropping off a travel bug without swapping is okay. Really, we promise...
4. It is acceptable to take a TB without leaving one in its place. IF AND ONLY IF you feel that you will help the bugs accomplish thier goals.If they have out of the ordinary requests, don't be afraid to participate...it might be more fun than you expect!
5.If you take a bug w/o leaving one - please, please try to fill that space within 2 weeks of your visit. We feel that ultimately, the purpose of travel bugs is to travel. At the same time, in order for the Inn to work there must be bugs to trade.As a general rule, just try to be fair & so will we!
6.After taking a travel bug , try to log it A.S.A.P.. At the Wayside Inn we care about our guests and like to know they're in good hands. (& we're sure thier owners do too- it can be really distressing to learn your TB is lost!) It can also be infuriating to travel to a cache hoping to find a trackable that has already been taken & not logged in! All we ask is that you try!
7. Last, but not least- come back & see us anytime you have a travel bug to trade! Just log it as a "note" & not a find! Thanks for staying with us!

Location suprised us. Had no idea this area was here. Enjoyed the short hike a bunch. Took us longer to go through all the TB's than to find the cache.
Took: Nascar TB, Lucky Penny TB and Hello Kitty TB.
Left: Jacks Duck TB with Diabetes TB and Poochie the Dog TB.

After tromping around in the woods for what seemed like forever, all of a sudden, there it was right at my feet. We were just about ready to give up. Dropped off the one non-specific goal TB that we had on hand and relieved some of the congestion in the Inn by picking up four travelers. We'll try to move them along quickly. That's why they call them Travel Bugs.

Found with the rest of Team Marina and rowanf, visiting from California! Trailhead was obscured, at best, but got there! TFTC!
