Traveling

The best part of Chicago was probably getting there! We took the Amtrak train from Quincy, IL to Chicago's Union Station and stayed in a hotel in the suburbs.

Here's Steph taking a snooze on the train. She was only awake for a short portion of the train trip. I don't blame her though... Daisy jumped on her all night beforehand.

Upon our arrival we met Mike and sat in Union Station to relax and figure out the master plan.

Our hotel was pretty cool. We had a nice room, a balcony overlooking the gardens, a hot tub, and a pool to lounge in. This picture is of me, JP, Mike, and Steph all playing spades. Too bad nobody told me the rules first. "Uhhh....I think I overbid...." Ooops.

Waiting in lines was the name of the game. Especailly for the free trolley ride around the museum campus. Here's a shot of JP being patient.
