The world seems smaller this afternoon. I guess one would think that, after reading teen novels about lost of teenaged love all night and all morning. The sky is, of course, sad and gray and all the trees with their outstreached limbs. All black and ghostly. I didn't even feel the need to turn on the lights this morning, and I sat for hours on my couch reading pointless books. After months of throwing myself into theatre, and school, and friends, I now feel empty without any of them. Espically without school. Because without school, I am without the dark room, the one place where nothing matters, and all I have to worry about are my pictures. It seems like that is the one thing I know I am good at.Only because people tell me. Numurous people coming up to me telling me how talented I am, and I humbly brush them off. I AM SO SICK OF THIS MONOTONY! Its the same thing everyday. I wake up, I go to school, then I come home for a total of 15 minutes and then I go to muse, I order food before rehearsal, usually cheesecake which I share with Val. Then we do rehearsal, and after Secretary, Val and I (maybe Zack or Jessica maight come along) go down and pick up our cheesecake which we eat in the stairwell where no one can badger us about having a bite. Then we continue rehearsal, in which minor drama might happen, but let me remind you that muse is just high school only with bigger egos. And everyone feeds eachother's egos until their heads grow so large that there is no room for anyone else and people grow small and umimportant. I have also come to find out that people also loose their identity at muse. At least I have. I am not longer Hailey and Zack is no longer Zack. We are now Zack and Hailey. The only people that recognize this at muse is Val and Jessica. Mostly people want pictures with us together. And people see us together. And people think of me with Zack right next to me and so on. But don't take this the wrong way. People recognize that we are best friends, and I realize that, but please, I am still Hailey. Ugh. And the one thing that I really love to do and can't live without, my family sees as nothing better than show business. IT ISN'T SHOW BUSINESS! People just need to shut their mouths and let me live my life. The only people that have a right to tell me what I should or should not do is Zack and Val. They know me better than anyone and they support me better than anyone. I just want to sit in my dark room and develop my pictures and listen to my emo music as loud as I can put it. IS THAT SO HARD TO LET ME DO?!
