Fashion Gives to Ukrainian Orphans
Local Models Supporting Charity Fund Raiser
March 28, 2005: On April 14, Help Us Help The Children, a project of Children of Chornobyl Foundation, presents Fashion Gives, a night of fabulous fashion, cutting-edge music and modern dance at the Mod Club. The show will help raise funds to provide supplies and aid to orphaned children in Ukraine.
Fashion Gives will feature a fashion show with designs by Betsy Johnson, Girl Friday, Ross Mayer, Areta, Lady Stardust, and Roma Rush shown by celebrity models including Much Music VJ, Sarah Taylor; reigning Miss World Canada, Tijana Arnautovic; and Toronto-area models Marie Nicola, Yasmin Ali, Yara Cottrel, Natalie Mec. Opening the show will be University of Toronto dance troupe, The Silhouettes.
The evening will also include a silent auction. Exciting items such as Toronto Raptors tickets, cellular phones and a professional makeover will be up for grabs along with unique collectibles including paintings by Ukrainian orphans and items autographed by newly-elected President of Ukraine, Victor Yuschenko.
Following the show, festivities will continue into the night with The Edge Live-To-Air After Party broadcast live on 102.1 FM.
