Walk for Shoes

May 19 , 2005: On Saturday June 11, 2005 Help Us Help The Children will hold its third annual "Walk for Shoes" charity walkathon. The walk promises to be lots of fun and it's a cause we can believe in.

Five and ten km walks will follow a flat, scenic route along the Humber River.

The "Walk for Shoes" challenge is to join a team, which consists of four or more walkers. The teams will be eligible for team challenge prizes and the team with the most participants automatically wins a prize. The entire amount of pledges collected will go directly to HUHTC. The goal is to raise funds and in-kind donations to provide one of the most needed material goods of all, children's footwear.
