Michael John Tierney, First saw the world on January 18th 1977, making him 23 this year. He was born and raised in the west of Sydney, along with this older brother, Andrew Tierney, and his older sister, Margaret Tierney.
He Grew up and started his High School life, which no-one would have guessed that what he was doing then would be what he was doing 5 years later.
Also during this time he made some life long friends, Toby Allen and Phil Burton, who also ended up with the same oppitunities as him. These friends would would all have an
Unbreakable bond some day, a bond built on doing what they love to do, SING!
Until that day came, Michael was extreamly involved in school choirs and singing in public. OK maybe not all the time to do with school but at his family get-togethers with this older bro Andrew. He continued this for most of his free time, and developed the voice we all know and love today. He would have never guessed that his next big step would decide his life.
Oneday his older brother Andrew had a vision, he though that it would be a great experiance if he wrote an arrangment of "Earth Angel", featured in back to the future. He told his friends about it and they agreed to help him on this project. Andrew also decided to let his younger bro in on the action.
This is when Michael went from a little boy in a school choir to a big time pop star, as we know him today.
