Peeves is an extremely mischevious Poltergeist who loves to cause mayhem. Only the Bloody Baron can control him, but Professor Lupin (See Marauders) Came very close to putting him in his place. Whenever Harry and his friends are creeping round the school - the worst thing that could happen is that Peeves shows up because he's so noisy! In the films Peeves was supposed to be portrayed by Rik Mayal - so far his performances have been left out of the films.
