Boy, did we have a wonderful 50^th Anniversary celebration on November 7th and 8th, 2003. The final activities included:

Student Assembly's marking the 50^th Anniversary with former students, teachers and officials present.
Announcement of the Wakefield High School Hall of Fame.
A Peppy Pep Rally Friday night before the game.
Group attendance at the football game to give the Warriors our support, but alas Mt. Vernon prevailed.
A Saturday of presentations, exhibits and remembrances held in the Library and other locations.
Special Announcements - "Will Harry Boscoe please report to the Principal's office."
Mini reunions in the cafeteria.
Students demonstrating class work.
A 1950's-1960's open house at the Women's Club.
A Happy hour and...
