The Bidayuh women folks bring all sorts of jungle and local produce to the market from the outskirt longhouses. Tropical fruits, variety of vegetables, a local specialty-sago worms and a rare jungle produce-miding are found in the market.The Sunday Open Market is a particularly enjoyable spot to browse.
5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk to Wisma Saberkas the major shopping centre. The uniqueness about the place is it houses the branded and leading departmental store of Sarawak which is Nguikee that offers a variety of items that includes clothes, food, stationeries, etc that all with a reasonable price. They house other stores too such as Speedy, Cindy, Hongkong Noodles House and so on. In a nutshell, there is surely something for everyone here. You are welcome to visit the mall during its opening hours daily from 10.30 am.
