Vision of the ANUH Community's Certified Transitional
Companion
Program (CTCP) is to provide an Alternative approach
to
meet the Spiritual Needs of those individuals processing through Transition.”
The
achievement of this Vision is accomplished through a two-fold approach:
1)
Certification as a Transitional Companion through the undertaking of the
ANUH Community's Transitional Companion Program; 2) ANUH Community
maintains a networking database to individual practitioners / organizations
that are desirous of representing their own Spiritual Paths.

Intensive
Training
The
Certified Transitional Companionship Program training consists
of
a 12-weeks of Intensive training in each of the following areas of concentration:

Companionship

Debra
“Pax” Wheatley is an ordained minister;
and
a member of the Board of Directors of the ANUH Community.
She
is a Reiki practitioner; and has led retreats on
Woman's
spirituality and on Working with Energy.
She
feels she has been particularly led to hospice work;
and
has a passion for seeing that others have dignity in their transition.
Amy Harp LPN (pending RN) has her Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Religion.
She currently works in hospice care and has a sincere interest in helping others transition with dignity.
Amy's Cultural Sensitivity expertise has been further enhanced by her extensive work abroad.
Leda Bartee CNA has twenty-nine years in the health care industry.
She feels she has been particularly led to hospice work; and has a passion for .
seeing that others have dignity in their transition.
The
facilitators take a round-table approach to training;
and
highly encourage individual participation.
They
believe that each individual has something unique to contribute;
and
looks forward to their own Spiritual growth through this program.
