Motives For Mission

1. The Bible is true (2 Pet 1:21; 2 Tim 3:16; Rom 1:16)

2. All mankind is lost (Rom 3:10-23; John 3;18)

3. Death is inevitable (Heb 9:27)

4. Judgement is certain (Acts 17:31; Rom 2:12-16)

5. Hell is real (Matt 7:13; Matt 25:46; Rev 20:11-15)

6. There is only one God (Eph 4:5,6; Isaiah 45:22)

7. God loves the whole world (1Tim 2:3,4; John 3:16)

8. The whole world belongs to God (Ps 24:1; Ps 50:12)

9. The nations are the inheritance of the Messiah (Ps 2:7,8; Luke 2:32; Heb 1:5)

10. Jesus died for all mankind (John 1:29; Ps 22:27-31; 1John 2:2; Heb 1:5)

11. Jesus saves (Heb 7:25; 1Tim 1:15; John 4:42)

12. Jesus is the only way to God (1 Tim 2:5,6; 1 Tim 1:15; John 14:6)

13. There is no salvation outside of Jesus (1 John 5:9-12; Acts 4:12)

14. Jesus left us an example (Mark 1:38; Matt 9:35,36; Luke 4:43; John 20:21)

15. Jesus commands us (Matt 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; John 20:21)

17. The Lord is worthy of all praise, worship and honour (Rev 5:12,13;

22. The need is great (Matthew 9:37)

23. The opportunity is unprecedented (John 4:35)

24. Our personal responsibility (Ezekiel 3:18; 1 Cor 9:16; Rom 10:13-15)
