How do you respond to this...?

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are better off than the million people who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death... you are in a better position than 3 billion people in the world.

If you have food in the fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over head and a place to sleep, then you are richer than 75% of this world's population.

If you have a money in the bank, in your pocket and small change in a dish somewhere, you are among the 8% of the world's wealthy.

If you can read this message, how fortunate you are - not only do you have access to a computer and the internet, you are better off that over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Furthurmore, if you can read the Bible in your mother tongue, you have a privilege that speakers of 4,000 or the world's 6,800 languages don't share.
