Memebership When you become a member or the NSW Cavy Club, it entitles you to enter the main breed classes - these are for pedigreed cavies. In your first year of membership, you can also enter the "novice" class. This class are for any cavy and they are judged on their preparation - ie cleanliness, grooming, contition. It is a great beginners class and is the ideal way to learn more about the finer side of show preparation. Being a member of the NSW Cavy Club, you will also receive a newsletter called Cavy Capers (editor Jo Livingston). In this newsletter it features show dates, cavy care, show results, stud ads, members classified ads and great cavy related articles. There are 10 issues annually. Your membership last how long you have it for i.e. half a year which only entitles you for half a year or full year it last for a full year. Cost: The cost is $5.00 for the first cavy then $1.50 for each cavy after that per class.
