Yes, this is our main character, he of the spiky hair - Gon Freeccs. Yes, that is his name. Yes, this is sort of what he looks like in the manga....except usually he looks cuter.

Like this!! Wow, this is a cute picture. Yes, this is a very nice picture of Gon. I guess the people who animate do a darn good job of animating when they're trying. (And when they're being paid... well, Yoshihiro Togashi is famous in Japan!)

This is Not-So-Nice Gon, who is angry and yelling about.....something. Probably one of his friends got hurt. So of course, he gets mad then. Other than that, there is almost nothing that can make him mad. And when Gon gets mad... oooh, people's arms break. Read Volume 5 if you don't believe me.

"Now I lay me down to sleep..." No, just kidding. I think he's trying to ask somebody something, but I haven't seen this anime episode yet so... not really sure about what's going on.

AHHHH MORE CUTE!!!! Okay, if you actually read the manga this is really funny. He was able to fake out the opponent into thinking that he would electrocute him with the rods, when of course Gon wouldn't really. If you are wondering about this, just... read the manga. Really.

More from the anime studios, fake manga style. Not that it's bad art, mind you, just that it's not quite Togashi. However, that doesn't really matter when it gets posted up on an illegal website, now does it?

This... is Gon.... vaguely...frightening. Yeesh. I don't know, cashmere just doesn't seem to fit him...(but wait until you see Clapika in this style). The ring on his finger is probably from his father, you know.. same style as Yuusuke's first ring in YYH? For those who know....... heheheh.

Okay....lot of empty, empty space. Why don't I just tell you my opinion of Gon? Okay, he's a character you can't not like. He's the most determined little brat I've ever seen in my life, but it works, miraculously. He's got a ton of friends that would lay down their life for him(IMHO) and he's off on a quest, and he's getting more powerful all the time. So far, so good.
