Jim and his wife Sue .. "the love of my life", are happily ensconced in Surfside Beach SC, where Jim claims to be "semi-retired" and dabbling at mortgage brokering when he's not playing. Pictured here with Sue, Jim enjoys the 50th birthday party he surprised himself with (how do you do that?). The surprise was actually on his family when he showed up without a beard for the first time in over 20 years. |

"Karaoke" Jim wrestles the
"mic" (floor lamp) from a friend to belt out an old rock 'n roll tune. He
admits to not being able to sing well but still enjoys it and sounds better (to himself?) as the party goes on! If
you visit Jim and Sue, be prepared to sing for your supper ... you've been warned! Notice the beard has returned ... grew it back the week after he shaved it off when he turned 50! |

Sue is not Jewish so they observe Easter
traditions ... coloring eggs .. and Jim takes her to visit her parents each Christmas ..
the "Santa-clause" in their marriage contract. Jim and Sue enjoy "child-like fun, even when we are the only two kids playing". His philosophy is "keep your friends younger than you are .. it keeps YOU young and ensures a better turn out for your memorial". |
