Trang Sinh Meeting Minutes May 17^th, 2003  
Ideas for Trang Sinh Activities:

The following are ideas of the activities that we will be investing in the near future. Please feel free to look it over and add any suggestions to it. Next to these ideas are the names of individuals who have volunteered to find out more information for us so that we can put these ideas into action instead of just throwing them on paper and hoping to get it done. It is mandatory that EVERYONE MUST pick one to work on. Once you have picked your idea you have ~ 2 weeks to do your research and present it to our “Doan”. These presentations may include, but not limit to 1.) When can we do it? Like what time are they open? 2.) Price of the activity. 3.) How far is it? 4.) What do we need to bring? And etc. Once you have finalized the idea, you can run the program, and everyone will try there best to provide you with any help necessary. I think that this will be very interesting thing for our group. And it will also teach you how to become a better leader. 
 

Ideas:

1. Theme parks: such as “Six flags” and “water country”
2. museums: such as MFA, Elizabeth Gardener, Children’s Museums -Binh
3. Aquarium: “Ghost of the Abyst” -Binh
4. Hiking: watching leaves fall in the Autumn
5. Field/Beach day
6. Camping: out of State…example: Virginia Beach - Tu Quyen
7. Laser tag: at Good time – Son Dinh
8. Movies: Any theater
9. Apple picking
10. Swimming program for those who can’t swim: -Tri & Son Dinh
11. White water rafting
12. Sailing
13. Fishing: also for clamps, lobster, and any other seafood
14. horse back riding
15. prudential tower: site seeing
16. buffet at “ice and fire” or something cheaper is fine too
17. paint ball and drag racing – Long.
18. Making Class B Uniform- All Trang Sinh

In addition to everyone taking turns every week to “chao co”, we will take turns in reading out loud the ten laws of scouting during our opening ceremony. This upcoming Saturday, Son Le will “Chao Co” and Son Dinh will read out the 10 laws of scouting. The following week, two different volunteers will do the same and so forth. I hope everyone will try there best to participate in this program.

For those Trang Sinh who already “Khan Quang” We will be running Semaphore programs one week and then alternate that with Morse Code the next. This will help us to better aquaint ourselves with Semaphore and Morse Code. And for those who have not gotten “khan quang” please continue to pursue it.
