I painted the (disassembled) with one coat of white primer and then a heavy coat of a medium gray base. I then used "fuschia" for detail. The face was done in "antique gold". I then assembled it, applied some of my water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
