I spray painted the (disassembled) mini with a coat of grey primer and then painted it with a heavy coat of a "blood red" base. I then did some detail with black on most of the mini. I also did some detail on the arms with "medium yellow" and "antique gold". I also did the cockpit glass in antique gold. I applied some water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains, bushes and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
