Since I already had a pair of Vultures and Madcats, I decided to modify them slightly. I swapped arms between the two. The single barrel arms of the Madcat seemed like a good fit for the gauss rifles of the Vulture.

I assembled the mini and then primed it. I then coated it black. I drybrushed it in periwinkle blue in a medium coat so that the black details would stick out but it wouldn't totally cover up the black. I was looking for a slightly worn look. I did the cockpit area in metallic green over a dark blue. I painted on the hazard strips; the right side is damaged (including the Jade Falcon logo), as if it was scorched by laser fire. I applied some water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains and bushes. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
