I painted the left (disassembled) mini with one coat of gray primer and then a heavy coat of a "medium gray" base. I then added "ultramarine blue" and black for detail. For the mini on the right, I primed it with white and added a coat of "icy white" base. I then used "cardinal red" and silver for detail, similiar to the one on the left. Both were given "antique gold" cockpit glass and decals. I also made up some name decals to put on the base, which you may or may not be able to make out from the picture. The base was filled in with sand grains and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
