Inner Sphere Assault BattleMech
The Fafnir is a 100-ton stomping machine. It has a pair of heavy gauss cannons which have long range capability, but can demolish a `mech at close range. It only has minor back up weapons in two ER medium lasers and a medium pulse laser.

I spray painted the (disassembled) mini with grey primer and then a heavy coat of a "dessert yellow" base. I then used "deep khaki" and "dove grey" to finish the spotted camoflauge scheme. The cockpit and face detail areas were painted in silver. I then assembled it, applied some water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains, bush and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
