Inner Sphere Assault BattleMech
The Grand Crusader is an 80-ton assault `mech built to take down enemies at either long range or short range. It is equiped with a pair of LRM-20 racks with 36 shots for long range attacks and a pair of large and medium pulse lasers for accurate, short range attack. Defensively, it has near-max armor and an anti-missile system.

I spray painted the (disassembled) mini with a coat of white primer and then another heavy coat of an "icy white" base. I then dry brushed most of the mini with a heavy coat of "gold". The gold really makes the white details stick out. In various computer games that I have played, "crusader knights" wore gold armor, so that's why I went with this scheme. The `mech's face was painted silver, as I commonly do with I.S. `mechs. I then assembled it, applied some water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains, bushes and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
