I spray painted the (disassembled) mini with one coat of white primer and then a heavy coat of a "pastel green" base. I then used "blood red" for detail locations. The cock pit glass was done with silver. I then assembled it, applied some water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base is made of wood as I was running out of resin bases; plus I like the bigger bases for the larger `mechs. The base was filled in with sand grains and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
