I spray painted the (disassembled) mini with a coat of grey primer and then painted it with a heavy coat of a "brilliant ultramarine" base. I then used "medium yellow" on the legs, head, cockpit and shoulder plates to make it stick out. I used silver on the cockpit, as I usually do with Inner Sphere `mechs. For the arms, I started with "icy white" and gradually added "light periwinkle" and "brilliant ultramarine" to give it a slightly shaded effect. I then glued the `mech together, added water slide decals and then attached it to the base. The base was filled in with sand grains and bushes and then clear coated with glaze to seal it.
