I painted the (disassembled) mini in colors that I imagined DC should be. I started with one coat of white primer and then a heavy coat of a "medium yellow" base. I then used black and "antique gold" for detail. The face was done in silver. I then assembled it, applied some of my water slide decals and attached it to the base. The base is made ofall wood as I was running out of resin bases; plus I like the bigger bases for the larger `mechs. The base was filled in with sand grains and rocks. When all was set, I applied a coat of glaze to protect and seal it.
