Flooding
You all know what this is. When you send to much data to the server, it disconnects you with a QUITS: JOELAMER (Excess Flood). This data can be just outputing to a channel or pinging or whatever. However it can be used as a weapon on IRC. When you send someone a ping they reply to it, so they are sending data to the server.
JOELAMER---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
JOELAMER---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
JOELAMER---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
Now this would go on for ever, except the server sees that JOELAMER sending to much data to it, so it disconnects him. It does not disconnect BOBLAMER because he doesn't reply to all the pings JOELAMER sent since JOELAMER was disconnected. Now what if there was a way to have BOBLAMER reply to more pings than just JOELAMER sent. This leads us into...

Cloning and Bots
First of all theres a difference between the two. A bot is a remotely controlled IRC'er used to help keep order on channels and servers(most of them anyway). You've probably seen them, like chanserv and nickserv on DALNet. A clone is a remotley controlled IRC'er as well, but it's main purpose is usually to assist someone in flooding. "Aha!" your thinking, "so thats how you do it!" or maybe your not. For those that aren't heres another diagram.
JOELAMER---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
JOECLONE---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
JOELAMER---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
JOECLONE---------->PING---->BOBLAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
BOBLAMER----->PINGREPLY---->JOELAMER
As you can see, BOBLAMER is now sending 2 times the data to the server. Normally you can get away with about 25 commands to the server before being flooded, so JOELAMER would send 25 to BOBLAMER and JOECLONE would send 25 as well, making him reply 50 times. Wham! He's flooded of the server for sending to much data to it. JOELAMER and his clone are safe, though, since JOELAMER never went over the limit of how many commands he can send. Bots can do pretty much the same thing. Your probably wondering now, well all this is fine and dandy, but how the hell do i make a clone or bot. For starters, if you have mIRC 16 bit, you need to make another copy of the mirc. exe file and name it like mirc2.exe Now that that's taken care of, you have to write a script. Uh Oh. You don't know how to script? Too bad. Heres a basic clone script that comes with instructions.
By the way, most servers have clone detectors, so don't just run around cloning, or you may end up banned from servers.
Now we'll move on to....

Nukes
This one was hardest to learn about, since most of the pages that supposedly had info about were down. What a nuke does, more or less, is send an ICMP unreachable to the person's IP, which kills the connection because it thinks the server has died.(For all of you nice people who e-mailed me and complained and said I was a lamer, there you go I fixed it) You may be wondering what an IP is, well its what you see after the JOELAMER@ on a /whois. So in this example JOELAMER@ip129.server.com the IP is ip129.server.com or rather the ip address(sigh, and yes all you wise and powerfull assholes, i know that this isnt the true ip, but for ease of explanation it is.) is that. What the nuke does is send packets of ICMP unreachable to the ip until it's forced to disconnect with a
QUITS: JOELAMER (Closing Link(JOELAMER@ip129.server.com) Protocal not available)
There are no side effects to this other than that it's just damn hard to hit them at the right port and that alot of servers have found ways to stop this. A port is the 6667, 6669, ect, that you connect to on most IRC servers. In order to Nuke them you have to know the correct port or just use trial and error, and on a server that has the ports 6667-7000 available, this takes a hell of a long time.

Check this site for the latest scripts

This is a good one. Try the Kemik script version 1.86.

In this section i recommended the best I've seen around, if you want to see all the rest go to these web addresses :
