The tube does not have to be perfect in circular shape, but it helps.
The circular gap between the displacer and the side walls should be
at least one milimeter. Instead of needles tops as 'bearings' of the
cylinder
of course ball bearing can be used, too. Even a piece of steel wire
in
horizontal position works.
