Journal entry #1: What story or stories were you told as a child to explain why something was/is the way it was/is? For instance, what respone did you get for "Why is the sky blue?" or "Where do babies come from?" etc. Pick a story and write your journal entry about this.

When I was little my moms used to always tell me stories. One story that I remember is the I asked her were babies come from. At first she did not know what to say because she was shocked and surprised. She said when I was old enough she would tell me. She never ended up telling me, but I found out on my own. I guess my mom didnt want me to know until she thought I was mature enough to know. She also could have been trying to prevent me from thinking of anything nasty or filled my mine with something bad because I was to young. Well thats one of many stories I remember.

neal: what up Zeus

Zeus: hey kid, what do you want?

neal: I want to ask you some questions

Zeus: anything

neal: how does it feel to be the most powerful greek god?

Zeus: it feels great

neal: would you ever want to be a human?

Zeus: never

neal: why not?

Zeus: cause I have everything I desire as the most powerful god

neal: I see, well that's it, bye

#3: Why do you think things are the way they are? Who/what is responsible for our world? Explain!

There is a reason for why everything the way they are. I think the person responsible for all for all of that is, is mother nature

#4: Why are there unpleasant things in our world?

There are always unpleasant things in our world. I dont think unpleasant things will ever end. I think were there is good there is bad, were there is light there is dark. You wouldn't know if there was pleasant or unpleasant things in this world if you didnt have both. There are also some people who are just cruel because they get fun out of it. Sometimes it's fun, but not all the time. Being bad is in nature since we were born. This is why I think there are unpleasant things in this world.

#5: If you had the powers of a Greek god, which god would you like to be? Describe the powers and explain how you would use them.

If I were a Greek god I would want to be Zeus. Zeus is the god of the sky and the most powerful god. I would use these powers the way I want to use them. I would take control over everything, as in I'm the master and everybody got to obey or else. It's probaly not the right way to use the poweres, but who cares no one can say anything to me. I would also have parties everyday, all day long. Well, to bad I'm not a god though.

6: Here is your Miss America question: If you could change one thing in the world/universe, what would it be?

If I could change one thing in the world it would be the killing of each other. There is to many people murdering each other and some people live in fear because of it. There is not reason to take somebody's life away. The only time I would agree about killing some one is if he killed one of your relative or close friends for no reason and he got sentenced to death. If he never killed, he wouldn't be killed. This is what I would change in this world.

#7: Why do people need an explanation for the world around them? Why can't humans be content with just "being"? Explain your answer in regards to our need for science/religion to give us answers.

People want to know where they came from to know their ancestors,and how it al started. My answer to all this is we were bought here by aliens, and stop worrying where you came from, and enjoy life.

Decribe your bedroom. It's about 15ft by 16ft wide and twelve feet tall. I have two big beds in my room. I have a dreamcast, a t.v, v.c.r, two c.d players, about twenty c.d's, a dresser, six posters and a bunch of clothes on the floor.

I then walk out the park in shame and the only thing on my mind was "why didn't I take the game winning shot,why did I pass the ball? and people was asking me did you win, and the only things I could see is a big sign "LOSER".

If I could change anything that happened during my freshman year it would be to let me have a more positive attitude about school so that I could've done better my first year in Edison. I would have hated to have had a better average, because I am really proud and thrilled of the average that I recieve my freshman year.
