Small nuclear explosion,
plenty dead
Claud Cockburn's famous 'benign' headline is likely to achieve an heroic volte face if Bush and Sharon have their way. According to American scientists, a small nuclear war could kill 100 million people. But Bush is determined that there will be only one seriously armed force apart from the USA's in the Middle East; Israel's. Bush and Sharon are determined on war to secure two main objectives - Iraq's massive oil deposits and the supremacy of America's only real ally, Israel. And Britain is being dragged in their wake by a prime minister pathetically determined to ape his heroine, Lady Thatcher. As Tony Benn and others have asserted, our prime minister is systematically tearing up the Charter of the United Nations. The so-called reference to the UN is shown up for what it has always been, a fig leaf devised by Blair to cover the antics of Mossad and the CIA. Israel |
