Phillip and I have been married for almost 18 years. We were married June 26, 1982. He is a mechanic by trade and a father by heart. I love him.
Phillip loves to go camping, fishing and hunting. He loves deer hunting, rifle, black powder, and bow. It doesn't matter to him. I think he most enjoys just being out there in the woods. I don't think it bothers him on the days he doesn't see anything, or they don't get close enough. Just so he has time to spend sitting in the tree stand, or crouched down, hidden among the brush.
Same goes with fishing. He can spend hours in the boat changing lures, or bait, waiting on the fish to bite. I don't have that kind of patience. If I don't have a 'fish on' in thirty minutes, I reel the pole in and give up. I think that is why I like to sit on the dock and catch the little crappie or perch. We usually use mine for bait! (HAHAHA) Phillip also like to go "noodling" (spelling?). I can remember some of the fish were as big as my daughter when she was 5 or 6. Some huge ones. They are great for the annual fish fries we have around here. Gather your families, neighbors and friends and have a humdinger of a time.
As for camping, he could live at the lake. Just give him a change of clothes and a campfire and he is set. We go less than we did at first, but with four kids the time (and money) seems to go fast. I imagine after they are grown we will go more....
