This CD is provided by Somerset Soaring Ventures (SSV) and Hawk Valley Soaring as a service to our friends and pilots who fly at Somerset Airport (SMQ) in Bedminster, New Jersey. Our intent is to point our student pilots in the right direction to attain the skills required to fly safely and to make sure our seasoned pilots continue to be safe. A glider pilot requires skills and knowledge in many topics. The most important skills are judgment and the knowledge of your own capabilities. In gliding, there are no ‘go-arounds’. |
