What is Holoworld Fleet?
Holoworld
Fleet (or HWF) is a PBeM sim. Using email
, HWF players create an interactive fiction universe based
on Star Trek: The Next Generation,
extrapolated approximately 40 years after the end of the
series. Players create characters and, along with other
players, develop stories set around starships, starbases, and the various beings that inhabit
both. HWF, founded in 1996, has continued to grow and prosper.
One thing that has contributed to that growth and longevity
is that the Fleet is entirely member operated with elections
yearly for Admirality positions.
