Eagle Nebula (M16)
The Eagle Nebula M16 is a young star cluster and emission nebulae containing thick pillars of interstellar dust. M16 is located 7000 ly away towards the galactic center in the constellation Serpens. One of the most famous images from The Hubble Space Telecope shows newborn stars embedded in the pillars of dust within the nebula.
