Globular cluster NGC5286
NGC5286 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Centaurus next to the star M Centauri. The distance to the cluster is 35900 ly. It is an extremely rich cluster, which contains thousands of stars at magnitude 15 and fainter. The foreground star M Centauri is relatively bright (magnitude 4.6) and is easily visible to the naked eye.
