Hard Chrome Plated Rods have plating thickness of 0.0005” to 0.001” , which is as per specifications. The hard chrome plating having low coefficient of friction and is done were wear resistance is required . The Hardness of Plating is 900-1000Hv Surface Finish -: RMS 8-12 : RA 0.2-0.3 microns Tolerance -: h8
The plating structure developed at Hycrome is made in such a way that , the hydraulic fluid within the cylinder provides smooth and protection from corrosion for the life of the cylinder. The Rods are available in Standard Sizes, Chemistries.
