| kasatka(pronouced- ka-saw-ka) was captured off of iceland on 10/1978 she was 9.5 feet most likely making her only a year or 2 . she was captured with katina who she is possibly related to. she was sent to sea world cali. she is 17.5 feet long and 5000lbs. she is a transent orca. she has a habit of hunting the birds that pass by the aquarium. when she catches one she eats it. she has a black dot on her left eye patch. her dorsal fin leans to the left and she has a notch on the right side of her fluke. she is the dominate female at sea world cali, and just resantly she had shown agression to one of her trainers she tried to push him out of the tank. later she had to be replaced by one of her tankmates for the rest of the shows. she is close to corky and would defend her when she is in need also she will defend the other orcas if one starts to get picked on.she is the mother of takara and nakai fathered by tillikum.she often babysits her grandaughter kohana. she is the first orca to be artifishaly inseminated and it is rumored that she is expecting another calf soon. she is smaller then orkid and she often preforms with takara or orkid in the shows. |
