Reports late last week were that Mark Henry was quitting wrestling to pursue
a title at the 2002 Arnold Classic Fitness Weekend.
However, Henry is not quitting wrestling, instead is taking off about three
months and will be back after that hiatus.
"You probably can tell, I'm a little pissed off. The 'I quit' type of s***
just bothers the hell out of me. I don't quit. If that was the case, I would've
been gone a long time ago. I'm not doing that. I know I can do this. When I get
the opportunity again, all those people who backed me and followed me -- saying,
'Where have you been? When are you going to come back?' -- the diehard Mark
Henry fans, I appreciate that. I'm going to live up (to expectations) just
because of them.
