4/28  Thu               Jinn went to school-  school called : jinn is doing very quiet.

                             Good at home too.

4/27  Wed                Appointment  : with Dr. Charles Lester - 4pm -Home visit

                                Jinn did not go school.  Still not good .  

                                2pm; another ¡°Fleet¡± - Hard stool and runny stool.  Much very after that.

                                She had two runny stool this evening.

                                Gave her ¡°Zofoft 25mg¡±

4/26  Tue                   Jinn got out from her room about 5:45am.  

                        About 5-10 minutes she was by herself in living room till  her  mom gets home

                        from work.  Sounds like Jinn wants to get dress up.  Äª¾ó°Å¸®°í

        Can not be still.  Keep borthering somebody.  She was ready to go to school by 6:30,

                         need wait 10 minutes more to come school bus.  She has to go out to door.

                         Mom took her to her car and Jinn  keep telling go so, mom drive around to next street.

        By 8 am school called, ¡°jinn is very upset and wild¡±

        By 9:30 am school called again ¡° they can not handle jinn anymore.¡±

        Mom went to school  for pick up,  there was two person holding and watch Jinn.

        I called to Doctor Ryan¡¯s office -  I pick up new medicine ¡°Zoloft 25 mg¡± and gave her           1pill

         5pm.   But non stop anxiety, panic etc.  took bath 4 times just today.(in and out¡¦)

        Drive around many times.  

        10:30 pm : try  ¡°Fleet¡±  - it works-  Jinn Smile- for the first time today.

From school 4/26/05 : Jinn tried to pull her pants down 3x in the hallway 2x in classroom did pull them all the way down 1x keeps going to bathroom to change every few minutes but is dry.  I keep holding her, walking her out side, giving her a lot of attention.  Gave her snack, water, juice, throw her water on the floor.  She also keeps pulling my blouse and pants.  Blouses all the time.  Keep trying new things to do with her.  Mrs. Evans gave her some pictures that came her down for a minutes. She took her blouse off out side during PE.

4/25 Mon    She hit herself again in the morning crying with no reason.

        Jinn came back from PCA within 2hrs.  Pca  said she can¡¯t handle Jinn today,

                         because  Jinn cry and  hit herself hard.   Jinn  seems like she can not make her mine.  

                         She does not know what to do.  Wants to out and not, go this way and the other way.  

                         Just cry and cry ¡¦..

        I don¡¯t know what to do¡¦..  At least not hitting in evening.

        Not eating much.    Went to bed  10 pm

1/28/04(wed)  à Jinn has been very cooperative today.  She cooked her own pancakes this morning and this afternoon she enjoyed pushing a big therapy ball around the track.

Yesterday Jinn swam for a whole hour.  You would be proud of her if you saw how well she¡¯s doing.

1/13/04  à After eating the birthday cake Jinn was very active then a few minutes later, laid down to take a nap. Too much frosting mayby?¡¦ ¡°Ray¡±

12/9/2003  à Jinn had a good day.  She delivered newspapers in the morning and participated in the sign language class at the end of day.  Jinn hot very upset at about 1:40 pm  and started hitting her face.

11/25/2003  àJinn went shopping today for Thanksgiving dinner groceries.  She also helped make pumpkin pie.  Jinn got upset while working on the pies and hit herself in the head with a can.  There is a small mark on her forehead.  ¡°Ray¡±

11/18/2003  à Jinn had a good day but started out not wanting to go to gym.  This had her in a bad mood for a while but then she ha a great day after that.

11/6/2003  à Jinn was very upset at 10am when we were getting ready to go home.  She started hitting her face.  She did not want to leave school.  ¡°Nancy¡±

9/17/2003  à Jinn was a student today.  She worked hard on copying patterns and stacking up.  She enjoyed some quiet time on the rocker.

9/4/2003  :   Jinn was not happy in her new changing environment.  She is no used to the new classroom just yet.  She had some noodles for lunch and one soft taco and chips. (Nancy)

 4/21/2003 : I have to turn in Jinn's IEP.  If you want to change it we can hold a meeting to amend it.
Jinn become angry this afternoon and hit herself on the face.  We think it was because she didn't want to walk up some stairs.  She did have fun in the pool this afternoon.

4/16/2003 : Here is a picture of a sign that everyone is using with Jinn at school.  We are using it with her when she finishes activities and she can use it to tell others when she is finished with something.  _Shery Mohwinkel- Speech/Language therapist.

4/8/2003 : Jinn shot hoops today in basketball(PE).  She also put her own basketball away.

4/2/2003 : Jinn is getting very confident while delivering the newspaper.  She used to only want to go into a few rooms but now she will go into almost every room we ask of her.  She looks nice in green.  -Lynn- TA.

3/31/2003 : Hi, I hope you all had a nice spring break.  Tomorrow we are going skiing and hope Jinn can ski.
Jinn had a wonderful day today.  She went swimming at the pool and has been walking independently all day.  Need sack lunch tomorrow.  -Ray-

3/19/2003 :We planted flowers today.  We worked on sign language for Sun, seed, dirt, flower, flower pot.  We cooked spaghetti as a snack.  Jinn went swimming today.

3/18/2003 : jinn came off the bus all by herself today.  She carried Anthony's lunch box for him and put it on his hook.  She went swimming.  We celebrated pon's birthday today.

3/14/2003 : We look forward to Jinn's IEP  visit on Friday at 11:00.  Jinn was much happier today.  Don't get blown away.  -Ray-

12/6/2002 : Jinn has had a stressful week.  She has been crying a lot the past few days.  I hope she gets feeling happier soon.-Ray-

11/25/2002 : jinn had a good day.  We took her swimming today.  Her wet suit is in her backpack.  She didn't like swimming today, but I think she will once she gets used to it.  -Ray-

11/7/2002 : Jinn was very cooperative today.  She helped push wheel chairs around the school on our paper route, lunch room and other activities.  This afternoon we danced in the classroom.  Have a good 4days weekend!

10/18/2002 : Jinn had a very good week.  Today we ate Thai noodles and loved them.  I think she ate 3bowls !  -Ray-

10/2/2002 : Jinn slept a lot today.  Seems she has puffy eyes.  She might be getting sick we have had kids out of school this week with congestion and colds.  -Peggy Daw- the Nurse

Jinn has doing well at school.  Occasionally she grabs her coat and backpack and wants to go home early.  We're usually successful in helping her change her mind. _Ray -

8/29/2002 : Jinn was whine(Ī¾ó°Å¸®´Ù) most of day.  no smile.
I was going to put "patch" on Jinn today, but read pharmacy label before I put on her.  There it was on "Possible side Effects" -nausea, vomiting, headache, itching dizziness...-  it was same symptoms Jinn had that night when I put "patch" on Jinn.

8/28/2002 : Jinn was very sad day today.  Almost all day she has tears and crying - doesn't seem to sick, just flu and some cough.

8/27/2002 : appointment with EAP at 4pm. (Jan MeGillivary - Cousultant)
Hit herself only one time today.  Jinn went to council meeting with me. meet "Jan".

8/25/2002 : yesterday the 1 st Patch on Jinn's back so she can not remove. "Ortho Evra"-Hormone control.
last night, Jinn was very sick, vary sick, She wants to vomiting but did not, no fever  that was 1am.
about 2am I removed the "patch" from Jinn's back and Jinn and I felt to sleep.
Jinn was Okey by morning.

7/14-7/20/2002:  jinn was very very bad girl this week.  hitting her face and very mad, throw a glass cup get broken and even she gets up 4:30 am.

7/18/2002(Thur) : Respite start today 9am -5pm Thursday and Friday with Norma Ramos from Catholic Social Services.   Set the respite till next week.  CSS has 30hours per month respite but they will let us use more hours   only on school vacation time because  we did not used all this time.

7/10/2002(wed) : 10:00 am with Dr. Michael Fisher - result from Jinn's blood test- all her blood test is in good condition.   no physical problem found with her, just lots of wax in her ear.

6/27/2002(Thursday) : Dr. Lyn Clark - she has no idea for jinn, only thing shee want t try with medication.

6/19/2002 :  Have appointment at 1:30 pm with Dr. Michael Fisher for Jinn's complete physical exam, head to toe.

5/31/2002 : Dear parents, I called Mindy Webb at the CdLS Foundation and received some good information.
When attempting to understand behaviors like Jinn has been showing us, Mindy suggested 3 things to look at,
1) medical overview ; Is she injured in anyway?  or is there some part of her body in pain?    A doctors visit will usually determine this.

2) Environmental stimuli ; Are there things going on around Jinn that irritate or even scare her?

3) Bio Chemical ; Is there something in the brain or nervous system that would for example, make her manic/ depressive, obsessive/ compulsive etc.

We see Jinns behavior become inappropriate when she is required to perform an assigned task and or she enters a new environment.  What we are seeing may a combination of all 3 of these things, but I belive the change of environment and other stimuli is the biggest issue.

Please call if you would like to talk more.  I'm going to do al little research on the CdLS web site so I can deepen my understanding of what things I can do to help make a positive difference for Jinn.  We sure love her and the time we get to spend together! -Ray-

5/22/2002 : We had a reception for our Seniors today.  There was cake and live entertainment.
This morning Jinn started hitting herself.  We do our best to minimize this,  but she is so quick about it that we are unable to totally prevent it.  Like you, we don't like Jinn walking around with bruises on her face.  Do you think the shots(Depo-Provera) you mentioned the doctor was going to give her might be making her more irritable? -Ray-

5/20/2002 : Jinn walked to Bells and saw lots of beautiful flowers.  What great weather we're having!  
We noticed she came in this morning with bruises on her face.  Is she hitting herself at home?  We'll do our best to make sure she has help redirecting herself from this kind of behavior.  If there is anything you think we can do to help you, we are open for suggestions.  -Ray-

5/10/2002 : Jinns had a hard day.  Her nose has been bleeding off and on and she wet her pants.  Her wet pants are in her backpack.  We hope you all have a great weekend. -Ray-

5/1/2002 : Jinn had a rough day.  Lots of crying and hitting herself.  I hope she's not feeling sick.  Maybe she'll be happier tomorrow.

4/25/2002 : Jinn eyes look really irritated but other then that she's had a great day.  She laughed when we acted out an old Alaska Native Story about how the Raven brought the Sun back to hes village.  If you like, Jinn can go swimming tomorrow.  It cost $4.00 and we can take it out of the money she has here.  If you prefer she doesn't , we have other activities for her. -Ray-

4/24/2002 : Jinn rode the bus downtown and went on a landmark scavenger hunt.  She visited the whale wall, Balto statue, Captain Cook,  and the Log cabin.  She behaves very well in the community.  She also is becoming very comfortable entering, riding, and exiting the bus.  -Ray-

4/23/2002 : Jinn had a very sad day.  She cried most of the day, was wet 2x, she ate 1/2 her lunch, hit her face quite a few times that is why her face is red(Right side)  -Dolores-

4/22/2002 : Here is a set of hand signs that we are working with Jinn on.  Please use them as much as you can at home to reinforce what we are doing at school.  Jinns finger looks good.  Today we went to Bells Nursery and looked and smelled lots of beautiful flowers.  She really enjoyed the experience.  -Ray-

4/22/2002 : Jinn  gets up 3:00 a.m.

4/17/2002 : Jinn rode the bus downtown today and bought lunch at Burger King.  The 1 st time she got on the bus she was quite afraid but once she realized she was safe, she had no more fear.  Good experience!  -Ray-

4/8/2002 : Jinn was very plite and instead of grabbing food from others, she pointed to what she wanted and signed for it.  This afternoon she got upset and started crying for no apparent reason.  If lasted about 20 min. and she is fine now.  During 6th hour she really enjoyed the dancing we did in PE.  -Ray-

 3/21/2002 : Jinn had a quite day during A.M.  She did get very upset during lunch.  She hit herself several time, was OK after she ate.  Had an Easter Egg Hunt after lunch. - Dolores -

3/19/2002 : Jinn went women's clinic for the 1st time.   for Depo-Provera Contraceptime Injection

3/18/2002 : For 2 weeks Jinn  did not sleep much.  Sleep at sofa in living room.

3/17/2002 : she hit herself on face, the face turned black.

3/15/2002 : did not went to bed last night went to bed 3 a.m. this morning with sleeping peel.

3/14/2002 : Dolores had Jinn trade her long sleeve shirt for a short sleeve.  We noticed that it seemed to make a difference by minimizing pulling her shirt up.  Our theory is maybe the long sleeves make her hot or irritate her in some way.  If she could come to school with short sleeve shirts we can test our theory and see if it might be a long term solution.  _ Ray _

3/13/2002 ;  Thank you for yours feedback.  A dialog between us can be most helpful in our interactions with jinn.  We are committed to working with your daughter as she is maturing into a young adult.    We will do our best to redirect the behaviours I outlined to you yesterday and hopefully replace them with something more appropriate.  Is there a day in the 1 st week of April that we can have Jinn's IEP ?   I look forward to meeting you and developing a positive working relationship as we serve Jinn.  Sincerely, -Ray-

3/12/2002 : First, Jinn does not know how to hit someone.  I myself wants to know what is going on in school.  I know that sometime she take off her clothes but we don't know why?   I asked her doctor about it , but he couldn't tell ether why?   
She hit herself on face when she get upset, but not know why? also. - we just do different things  to change her mood. -Dad-

3/12/2002 : jinn had a rough day today.  She repeatedly removed her shirt(all of it) several times throughout the day.  She also hit a student and a staff member.  We were forced to take her on a long work in order to prevent her disrupting the rest of her classmates.  If there is anything at home going on that can help us understand and prevent these challenging behaviours,  please write a few notes in this log.  We have great love and concern for Jinn and hope we can find some solutions to these issues.  Sincerely, -Ray-

3/11/2002 : Jinn has been very fussy today.  While on a walk outside she became angry and started hitting herself.  Also, while in class she took off her shirt.  We've tried to keep her on task with schoolwork but the only success was in PE this afternoon. -Ray-

11/15/2001 : Jinn was dry this morning and refused to visit the bathroom later in the day.  Jinn layed down on the floor this afternoon.  She did not sleep, but it was strange for her to do that.

11/5/2001 : Jinn has been very happy today.  She also into everything and bothering people the other, staff said they haven't seen her this bad before.  -Tamara-

11/2/2001 : I am Tamara- the interim teacher.  Jinn went today downtown on the bus to get her bus pass.  We well keep it at school in case we need it.  She got scared in the glass elevator at 5th ave. mall.

10/30/2001 : Jinn was very upset all day.  She cried for a while tried to go to the bathroom but nothing.  She almost fainted once and didn't eat her lunch.  -Dolores-

4/27/2000 :  <from school>  Jinn had a great time in the Pool.  She even went in the deep end with me!  She really enjoyed the warm shower afterward.  Glad you are back, hope you had a great time!  (Deanna)

3/23/2000 :  <from school> Jinn was very relaxed this morning.  I thought maybe she was tired this morning, but then she perked up when we leaving for the movie.  She watched half of the movie and then became restless.  When we returned to school she became very upset.  Her eyes are very red, she is crying, and she just wants someone to hold her.  We returned to school too late to have the nurse check her for a temperature, so I am not sure if she is sick or if she is simply tired.  I hope she is just tired, and not sick.  We will see Jinn again on April 3.  Have a good Spring Break.  Take care,( Deanna Frenzel)

10/99 :  Jinn is back to normal(?).  She has so much energy that she lift her bed up side down.   

9/11/99 :  She looks not too good all last week.  She was not talking(?) and not smile, doesn't sing.  She just stay  in her room   most of time at home.  We took her to doctor, but nothing wrong.  I wonder what makes her so sad?
  Maybe her body changes, because we can tell that her breast getting developing.

9/1/99  : Two days after back to school from summer vacation, she looks so happy.  Jinn was jumping around house and smile.
             She must had good days at school.   

8/31/99  :   It is first day of school after long summer vacation, and it's the first day of her Middle school year.
  The school bus came to pick her up at 7:10am,  we went to school about at 9am.  When we walk in to school building,   there  she was Jinn and her classmate, the teacher show them around building.   Jinn was already made her friends holding hand walk down hallway.  She seems so surprise to see her and so happy.

4/25/1999 :  She making mess all around house last week.
  Jinn likes belt so much.  It she see a belt she doesn't pass, she ran to it and kiss on it, doesn't matter a man or a lady, at  church or at shopping mall.  The most people surprise with her doing that and some people give up there belt to her.  We always get ready for her's sudden attack to catch her when we go shopping.  But she is past....

4/11/1999 :  She is very good, good girl lately.   She doesn't make any mess or bother any.   After dinner, she just grab few toys and  goes to her room,  she came out next day in the morning.

9/11/96 : We had a damp day. Jinn was wet 3x¡¯s today and I ran out of clothes.  Jinn is doing a super job of being  more independent and also of letting me know what she wants through her gestures.  She is very fun to watch her grow up.  ¡°Jill¡±

9/9/96 : Jinn had a super day.  She went potty in the potty .  Yahoo!  Also Jinn went to another class and worked on some calendar activities.  She is trying very hard to communicate and seems very happy to be in school.  ¡°Jill¡±/

9/3/96 : Jinn had a super day.  She was very happy all day.  Although she cried getting off the bus and she quit when she got inside and there were no more tears.  She had a happy day.  ¡°Jill¡±

5/17/96: Jinn had a super day.  She went to Campbell Creek with me and released 3 salmon into the creek.  She loved it and thought it was a lot of fun.  ¡°Jill¡±

5/3/96 : Jinn used the potty to urinate today.  She had diarrhea on the bus this morning but ate a good lunch and didn¡¯t act sick.  She¡¯s the 4th child in our class to get diarrhea this week I think it  must be a flu bug. All else was great . Have a good weekend.  ¡°Jill¡±

3/18/96 : Jinn went potty in the potty again today.  This makes 5days in a row.  Are you using the potty chair at home?  She is really improving! Yahoo! ¡°Jill¡±

1/12/96 : jinn did a BM on the toilet today.   We were very excited and we made a big deal out of what a good job she did.  Is Jinn sitting on the toilet at home?  It might be helpful if you start putting on the toilet at least one time a day.  She needs a snap on potty seat because she¡¯s so small.  It would help her to know she should use the toilet at school and at home.  

11/17/95 à Jinn stayed dry all day went potty in the toilet.  She also took hou snowsuit and shoes on of by herself. ¡°Jill¡±

 9/27/95 à Yahoo !   Jinn had dry panties all day and she wet in the toilet once  I was very proud of her. It was a good day for Jinn.  ¡°Jill¡±

9/26/95:  à Jinn wetat the very end of the day.  She gets a sticker when she is dry and she did not cry when she saton the toilet. Very good day.  ¡°Jill¡±

Jinn really enjoys when her friends come to play with her during lunch recess.  After they left today she started to fuss a little and opened the door and ran out into the hall after them.  (Delores)

4/22/93 : <from school> Jinn had a good day overall.  She cried for a little while this morning.  We couldn't figure out why.  She stopped after about 8-10 minutes.  She was fine the rest of the day.  We went outside for adaptive physical education to play on the playground equipment.

4/20/93 : <from home> There is no more wire in Jinn's mouth anymore.  Dr. Case - Dentist- removed it all yesterday.  Jinn still has stuffy nose but, she was very good girl and sleep good too. (dad)
