Ok, this is the page about me, the most important person in the universe. Ok, so maybe that's all just in my mind, but while you're here, I get to pretend that I am. Bwahahahahaha!

Ok, so, about me... hmmmmm. Well, my name is Jamin Fryer (pronounced Jay-min). I am 21 years old, male, and live in Victoria, BC, Canada.

I play and number of role-playing games, including Dungeons & Dragons and several of the White Wolf games, and have done so, in one form or another, on and off for the past 10 years. I have been both a player, a DM, and an ST, unfortunately most of my gaming has been on the DM end, and not enough on the player end. I do, however, like creating maps, interesting or funny traps, and new monsters for players to fight. I also play several characters on one of the MSN role-playing chatrooms.

I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The SCA is a medieval recreation group, found mostly in North America, but is present all over the world. In the SCA, you create a persona for yourself, fight (either heavy or rapier), dance, make garb (clothing for your persona), embroider, sing, feast, and just about anything else your persona would have done.

I enjoy reading, mostly fantasy and science fiction books. I'd put down which ones are my favourite...but I've got so many I've liked, that it's hard to chose between them I've also started to read some erotic novels (such as Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series) and some of the vampire books. I also have a fascination with the Sidhe, Fae, Faerie, Fair Folk, or whatever name you choose to call them.

I draw a lot, mostly when I'm in the right mood and when I'm not in the mood, my pictures aren't as good as when I'm not inspired. Most of my really good pictures were done when I was inspired to do them, for one reason or another. My stolen halo picture (see my elfwood page) I did between about midnight and 3am one night.

I enjoy listening to music, such as rock, metal, gothic, techno, trance, new age, anime, and songs from other genres. Most recently I've been listening to stuff by "Incubus Succubus." I also like dancing, just about any type of dance is good, though I mostly do medieval dance.
