Steadily pumping
Never stopping
Poetry never stops it never dies
unlike the poets who write it
It's above the circle of life
It's the circle of fight
The circle of individuals overcoming only to fail once more
It's the ultimate quest to find out who you are
Poetry is rooted deeper than the thoughts it represents
It cuts through the symbolism, metaphors, and other language devices we use to enhance it
If you let it, Poetry will evolve into an universe you're scared to enter
A place where you're forced to face your biggest fears--
facing yourself in a true reality revealing who you truly are
In a sense your picking your scars
But poetry heals
enabling the circle to continue
