Anoles are...
Fun Facts:
so cute!!! I've had mine for over three years. They laid one egg last year, but it got moldy. This past summer they've laid a total of 12 eggs, but they either got moldy or dried up. Anoles lay a single egg at a time, and one to two weeks apart. Here is a picture of a green anole I found on the internet. My guess is it's a female.
I have a boy and a girl. They are usually frightened, but not when they're with me.
My anoles are the species of green anoles. They can change colors between green and brown. Depending on how excited they are.
I have had brown anoles before. They act differently and can change colors between brown and gray
More about my pets:
My pet anoles live in a cage in my house. They are very delicate and timid. They like to be warm but also enjoy hiding in dark shadows. Their names are Kalil (male) and Felicia (female)     ***Kalil and Felicia passed away in 2001, Kalil in late May and Felicia in early December. I treasure the time we had together. My current lizards are Ari(male) and Leilia(female), but this page will remain as it is, in honor of the best pets I ever had, Kalil and Felicia.***
My pets like to hide under things and curl up in my hands.
Green anoles can loose their tail. One of mine lost her tail, but it's growing back.
