a LAZY (but productive) weekend in san diego later... and i'm GLAD i had a chance to really just sit back and not have to worry about anything. Don't get me wrong... i was still productive... getting a computer, learning how to use it, watching my boys on tv, and watching my bro get dunked. =) but coming home this monday to a day off and an endless list of things to do... BLAH! i'm really glad i was able to get some R&R in.

so if you don't hear from me... it's not because i don't have internet... it's because i'll be too damn busy. with::: moving apartments (for real this time), 34 hours at starbucks, 40 hours at discover, and having to manage my new household and it's bills. it doesn't sound like much. but when you start to get into the nitty gritty of all things involved, a whole crapload of stuff explodes out. I just want a little bit more time for everything. but everything has a deadline. I just hope this job with dillards pans out okay. cuz at least i would have a more flexible schedule and i would be getting paid more. ... yeah... but with the sacrifice of my weekends and holidays. and with everyone i love being so far from here... BLAH. i'm just not being as optimistic as i know i should be. but we'll see what happens. if everything goes as planned with starbucks, then i won't have to be running around just to keep my bank account from belly-flopping.

so i'll just sit here and wait and see what happens. i'm still dreading the conversation with my ex-roomies about how their electicity will be shut off within the next 2 weeks. oh well. they're both grown men. they need to learn how to take care of their damn selves. just because they eat my food without asking, it doesn't mean i'm the one that needs to be responsible for them.

if you're wondering, it's because my computer crashed a few weeks ago, so i haven't had internet access. that, and i've been too busy. =P i just NOW got my library card. ((but i can't go on myspace from here. BOO HOO! haven't checked my comments in weeks. har har)) anyhoo... p.s. the Avondale library is hecka nice. still smells brand spankin new!

so i got a job at Discover Financial Services. starting on the 15th of this month, i will be that irritating ring of your home phone demanding that you pay your discover bill. HAH! really. i'm not joking. but yeah. i think i'm gonna check it out for a couple of weeks, then decide otherwise. 'cuz i just got word that Dillards hires starting at $11 and goes up from there. a buddy of mine just got hired with less experience that I do and she's starting at $13. which in arizona, isn't bad at all. So i figure, if i stick it out at discover for the training up until my first paycheck, that should pay the bills for September, then from there i'll do the usual 2 jobs. except less hours. YAY! i know that sounds pretty incoherent... but it makes sense to me in my own head. i just wanna bump up my savings after this past month of unforeseen expenses, i'm to the point where i'm BROKE. at least you would be proud of the progress in my finances that i've made in the past year. heck... i'm actually proud of myself!

in any case... pane and i have been fighting a lot more than i'd like. but chatting with other newlyweds that i work with... apparently, the first 2 years are the toughest to get through. here's to hoping that he'll start to give a damn.

and p.s. i'm still furious with my new landlord. i was supposed to move in on wednesday. had to re-arrange my work schedule (which had me work a 13 hour shift on monday) in order to have wednesday off... and we couldn't even move in. turns out, the old tenants hadn't moved out yet. and the property called me THE DAY BEFORE to let me know we wouldn't be able to move in for about a week! A WEEK! lucky for us, we still have the current apartment for another month. but holy crap! if we didn't... we'd be SOL. that just sucks.

anyhoo... i have a bunch of errands to run before i make my trip out to san diego. wish i could check my comments tho... cuz supposedly people left invites. or something. i dont know.
