i haven't had internet at my apartment in 2 weeks. needless to say, it's been torcher. =( but whatevs. i'm home in SD right now. with the people i love the most. =)

and back only after 10 days! after an impromptu 3day/2night trip which heeded the likes of "i'm COLLDDD!!! //// it's HOTTTT!!!!" ... "conti lang" ... "okakimaki!" ... "elluhhh elluhhh elluhh ehhh ehhh ehhh" and other such madness. it was a WONDERFUL trip home. I got to spend time with the most important people in my life (less the hubby). so yes... padres with erik and megan. drinking w/ erik and brian. and a full day of san diego exploring and shopping with my baby brother and my mom. and good ol' conversation with the rest of my immediate family. it was one of those few times that i didn't try to fit seeing all my friends in one miniscule window. and it was PERFECT.

dear erik... we should move to vegas. that would be a HOOT. but i also think it would contribute to our never ever growing up, and add on to our growing alcohol "problem." hahahhahah! i must admit that it is quite a tempting thing to do. and for now, i think that it's a fantabulous idea to keep our "adult" lives on hold. vegas would be great. we should totally do it.

in any case... i should really be getting back to my visit here. it's been nice catching up with my messages.... but nothing beats hanging out with the people in person. =)

i should have started on laundry about an hour ago, but i'm a lazy bum. and myspace got the best of me.

anyhoo... the pothead/drug-dealin/eat-all-my-food/random-strangers-knockin-on-the-door-at-all-hours-of-the-night/can't-wash-dishes/dirty-bathroom roommate unexpectedly moved out last night. his buddy's momma is payin for his 2BR apt and his roommate bailed. so now my ex-roommate moved in rent-free! WOO HOO! that's great for ALLLL of us. now i actually have a living room. and my food will stop mysteriously disappearing. and the crackheads will stop a-knockin at all hours of the day/night. and the apartment will stop smelling like skunk all the time. so now we might not have to move. =) yay! cuz i actually like our other roommate. rent's a little higher than i would like... but it's convenient. so i think i'll add myself to the lease. woop woop.

okay. really. if i don't get up off my lazy ass in the next 10 minutes, my husband won't have anything to wear to school. =X so i should probably go now.

DUDE. i've been married for 2 weeks. can't wait for the honeymoon! wooooo! but not for at least a year and a half. =P pooper.

wanna know another pooper? i got into a fender bender last week. people out here CANNOT DRIVE!!!! UGH. maybe because not everyone has a US drivers license. DAMNIT. so i go to my husband's friend's uncle's body shop for an estimate. he says around a thousand-ish, but tells me to get a second opinion first. So i do... and my second estimate is gonna be over $4500. GEEEEEZ!!!!! let's just hope my insurance doesn't go up. =P but at least i know i'm gettin what i pay for! hahahha!

the suckiest part? now i can't afford to fly up to the bay for erik and keina's bdays. =( SUCKS! cuz now i have to use that money for my deductible. and i'm not one of these people that have a $250 deductible. yeah. it's double that. =( and starbucks pay kinda sucks out here. and so do tips. so yeah... no bueno!

in any case.... i miss home. and i chopped my hair off cuz it's tooo damn hot out here.

that's all. for now. my brain needs caffeine. but i'm saving my energy for Ocean's 13!! YAY!
