Centrifigual supercharger
forced by- compressing air in intake manifold, engine pulley spinning shaft of a snail housing and bladed compressor.
efficiency- fairly efficient, like turbo
parasitic hp loss- 30-50hp loss
driven by- engine pulley with rotates a shaft that spins a bladed compressor in snail housing. Exactly like a turbo except the exhaust turbine replaced with a pulley.
size- small, size of turbo and top mounted, only need to setup bracket and pulleys
noise- minor intake suck noise like turbo, minor whine
setup- easy, bolt-on

installation- hard (depends), see setup
intercoolerable- yes, air-air/air-water
change boost- change pulley
primary quality- full boost at wide open throttle (max RPM), partial boost at partial throttle or load.
bad quality- only full boost at wide open throttle (max RPM), has BOOST LAG due to progressive snail housing style
used for- reliable streetable power based on throttle. as long as not wide open throttle, car should behave similar with same gas milage as N/A, with minor boost power. Only at WOT (wide open throttle) will full boost occur and max power, so racing a centrifugal requires full throttle, straightaways or strip
used to- add hp, torque
power range (RPM)- max boost only at max RPM or wide open throttle, usually size pulleys so that desired boost is found and stops at max RPM of engine, also at WOT.
found on- domestic major tuners, on sport trucks and full-size, stock V-8 cars, import cars suck because at a 45 hp parasitic loss, that`s almost half the engine power. Currently i think vortech or powerdyne makes an import blower, set for 9000 RPMs... but goood lawd... just get a Jackson racing one.
strip- not really, parasitic hp loss sucks that`s why, boost lag, plus full boost at full throttle
street-major street poweradder, simpler, more efficient in terms of when boost kicks in, boring to me because i want boost at all RPMs.
track- very commonly found for wide open throttle racing like low turn/high straightaway race tracks
