Dear Tessaroo,

I’m not sure what I want to say. I don’t want to upset you but there are things that I would like you to know. You are a very special person to me. I have loved you as though you were my own. The joy that you have brought in my life can never be forgotten. You are such a wonderful person and friend! The love that you have given Bailey has always been so neat to see. You have loved her for herself and listened to all that she had to say and never made her feel that she was wrong or stupid. She loves you dearly, and I hope that she has brought you even half the happiness you have given her. You have always been there for her and never let her down. You have never let any of us down. I will take care of her for you. Thank you for loving her!
You have brought so much to your mother’s life that I can’t remember what it was like before you were born. You have shown her what it is to be loved and how to love. I’ve never seen anyone love someone so selflessly than your mother for you and you have given that gift to her. Thank you.
During the past six years I have watched you fight and watched you grow into the person you are today, and what a person you are! I have admired you, I have been inspired by you, and I have become stronger because of you. You have never given up, always fighting for your life and never forgetting those around you.
You once told grandmother that you must have “people nip” because people were attracted to you. Well, sweetheart, I think that is true. People just naturally would be attracted to you. They could feel your understanding, your compassion and for those of us who really knew you, your love. You never judged anyone that I know of, you always accepted them for who and what they were. That is a rare and wonderful gift for you those that you love. Thank you.
You have touched so many people’s lives. You’re probably not even aware of how many. You are the type of person that has an effect on people. They feel comfortable around you. They feel accepted by you. There is not one person that you have come in contact with that has not been affected by you. You are remarkable! And so strong! You are loved by so many people. It must be a great feeling to have that love given back to you from everyone. We are all better people because of you!
I hope that you know that if you need anything, you call me anytime. I’ll always be there for you. I love you so very much and ALWAYS will. I will always be your Murney!
