Routines, the extra mile

Routines are the extra step you take to make sure your goals are met.It is this way in our business life, our personal life, our spiritual life, and it should also be this way for our child’s life. You are providing an education in your home, and every example we set leaves an impression.

When my children are done eating at the table, they let me know by saying they want to “get down now”or start playing with their food or utensils. After the dining experience, after every meal, we go to the bathroom and wash and brush. We’ve done without a step stool, which I suggest every child’s bathroom should have, however this has provided another opportunity for learning.

I get on my knees in front of the sink, and bend one up, so my son can stand on my leg and reach the faucet, water, soap, and his toothbrush, the natural bristle and natural toothpaste are best for our next generation.

Keeping the flow of energy positive often is challenged by mood changes, hunger, and/or a lack of activities.I hope to provide you with some positive paths to keep your day full of sunshine!

We always make time for reading, water play, food preparation, feeding our animals, researching bugs and wildflowers, recycling, walk outside, cleaning up,playing games, library visits, and visiting our neighbors.
